nVent SCHROFF Intelligent PDU – Smart Power Distribution Unit for Server Racks

The nVent SCHROFF Intelligent PDU (Intelligent Power Distribution Unit) is an advanced rack power distribution solution designed for servers, networking equipment, data storage systems, and IT infrastructure installed in 19-inch rack cabinets.

Unlike conventional Basic PDUs, Intelligent PDUs provide advanced power metering, remote monitoring, and power management capabilities. Selected models also support individual outlet monitoring and remote switching, enabling more effective control of electrical power distribution in data centers and server environments.

Available in single-phase and three-phase configurations, nVent SCHROFF Intelligent PDUs offer flexible options for rack-level and outlet-level power management, helping improve energy efficiency, capacity planning, and operational reliability.

    Key Features & Benefits

    • Intelligent Power Monitoring: Monitors electrical parameters such as voltage, current, power, and energy consumption, depending on the model.

    • Remote Network Monitoring: Enables remote access to PDU operating information for effective power management.

    • Input and Outlet Metering: Provides input-level or individual outlet-level power measurement on selected configurations.

    • Remote Outlet Switching: Selected switched models allow individual outlets to be powered on or off remotely.

    • Single-Phase and Three-Phase Options: Available in 230 VAC single-phase and 400 VAC three-phase configurations.

    • Ultra-Low Profile Design: Compact construction helps optimize installation space inside server rack cabinets.

    • Daisy Chain Connectivity: Selected models support connecting up to 64 PDUs, reducing the number of required IP addresses.

    • Ethernet Connectivity: Supports integration with network-based power monitoring and management systems.

    • Local Data Display: Selected configurations provide displays for viewing electrical parameters and operating status.

    • Energy and Capacity Management: Supports load analysis, power capacity planning, and improved energy utilization in data centers.
